Sculptra

Sculptra is a formulation of L-polylactic acid. Sculptra acts to stimulate the fibroblasts to produce endogenous collagen. The filling effect provided by this preparation leads to regaining the lost volume of skin, smoothing lines and wrinkles.

Sculptra can be successfully used to restore lost volume and smooth out the wrinkles and hollows in the skin, mainly in the middle and lower parts of the face.
Used to fill in:
• tear furrows,
• nose-lip furrows,
• chin-lip furrows,
• chin depression

In addition, the formulation can be used to restore the volume of area around the zygomatic bone or the face oval.
The treatment lasts several minutes. Before the treatment, during the surgical consultation the area of ​​skin to which the preparation will be administered is determined in detail. Application of skin anesthetic creams is allowed. After injecting the area, the surgeon performs a massage of the treated area, to evenly distribute the product. The patient should periodically massage the injected area for several days afterwards, to ensure a natural look of the corrections performed. The effects appear gradually. Full correction usually requires 2 or 3 treatments, and the results, very natural-looking, should be visible after about 6 weeks.

The effect of the Sculptra preparation may last for over two years.
