Between the 10th and the 12th, Poznań hosted the 17th meeting of the Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. For the first time, the meeting included a symposium of the International Society of Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).
June 7th and 8th saw Verona hosting the International Face and Nose Anatomy Course „Beauty of the face”. The course was organised for 15 persons, the lecturers were: Dr Natale Gontijo de Amorim, Dr Riccardo Mazzola, Dr Gino Rigotti, Dr Enrico Robotti, Dr Andrea Sbarbati, Dr Peter Palhazi.
This was the 16th edition of the course organised by Dr Giovanni Botti, dedicated entirely to aesthetic surgery of the ageing face. It took place in one of the most beautiful places in the world, in Salò on the Gardone Riviera, on May 23rd-26th of 2019.
This was a very interesting meeting concerning a great way to model the neck, face and arms. This method can also be used for liposuction of fat from other areas of the body. It is a new, very safe and useful method. I am grateful to Dr Artur Broma for inviting me to participate in this course and for making his beautiful clinic available.
Between October 17th and 20th, Bergamo’s Villa Sant’Apollonia hosted a training course headed by one of five top nose surgeons, Dr Enrico Robotti.
Dr Giovanni Botti, together with his daughter, Chiara Botti, organised the second edition of “The Big Challenge – The War of the Noses”, an innovative Congress on Rhinoplasty.
This was already the 15th edition of the BBB, Bottis’ Best Breast Course, at the Villa Bella. It took place in Gardone at Lake Garda, on May 25th-27th, 2018, in one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. It was one of the most inspiring courses that are planned for this year.

The Milan-based G. Sanvenero Rosselli foundation headed by prof. Riccardo Mazzola organised this time a course dedicated to low-invasive face treatments.
Between September 14th and 16th, the World Symposium on Ergonomic Implants took place at Gardone.
In Salò, at the Gardone Riviera, a conference took place on May 26th-28th, 2017, organised by Giovanni Botti and his daughter Tochter Chiara. Salò, where Dr Botti’s clinic is located, is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The course dealt with an individual mode of progress of the plastic surgeon with a patient requiring aesthetic surgery of the eyelids and the eye socket.
The agenda of the 9th international Milano Masterclass biennale was prepared in a particular way, so that it would serve both newcomers as well as experienced surgeons.
Innovation is a fusion of imagination and creative desire. Innovation in plastic surgery concerns the integration of the progress of scientific knowledge leading to technical progress.
The Cutting Edge aesthetic surgery symposium 2016 that took place in New York at the Waldorf Astoria hotel was an advanced comprehensive course concerned with all aspects of nose operations.
Dr Riccardo Mazzola had for years organised in Milan very valuable single-day meetings concerned with operations in the area of modern plastic surgery.
Controversies, Art and Technology in Breast and Bodycontouring Aesthetic Surgery – CATBBAS Following the success of the second edition of the international CATBBAS meeting in Brussels in June of 2014, focusing on aesthetic surgery of the breast and body contouring using live modern treatments and HD-3D technology, Brussels saw the CATBBAS III meeting take place between 30.09. and 02.10.2016.
On September 15th-17th, a congress took place in Gardone on contemporary problems related to breast implants.
Between September 8th and 10th of this year, in Versailles, the first international meeting took place of the rhinoplasty association.
This year’s key topic of the BBB Bottis’ Best Breast course was aesthetic breast surgery. The meeting lasted three days.
On March 17th in Florence, a symposium of ISAPS took place concerning news in plastic surgery. The symposium was made up of several sessions.
The organising committee – Christoph Heitmann, Hisham Fansa, Wolfgang Gubisch and Dirk Richter – invited us to the 5th SOS Symposium that took place in Munich, Germany.
On April 25th and 26th, the cadaver course ‘Advanced Aesthetic Surgery of the Face’ headed by prof. Bryant A. Toth took place in Vienna. The course concerned techniques in complex operations of the entire face, cheeks, the neck as well as perfect knowledge of the anatomy of the face.
On April 23rd and 24th, the ‘Meeting of Experts’ organised by the company MENTOR Course of Surgical Excellence took place in Amsterdam. The lectures were dedicated to breast operation with a focus on aesthetic and oncological surgery, controversies related to such operations, complications and modes of treatment of these complications.
On April 17th and 18th, Düsseldorf in Germany hosted the 3rd International Breast Symposium. The Polish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association was the official partner. The lectures centred around new techniques of breast operations and new tendencies in breast reconstructive surgery.
In Milan, on November 28th and 29th, a two-day aesthetic surgery course took place of the female reproductive organs.
On October 10th and 11th in Salò, there took place the international master course ‘The Big Challenge’, the topic of which were controversies concerning nasal surgery and the choice between the closed or open method.
On September 6th-7th, in Vienna, the Centre of Anatomy and Cell Biology of the Medical University of Vienna hosted the Postgraduate Anatomical Surgical Training Vienna Hands-on Course.
The Congress concerned itself with the art, the newest technologies as well as the controversies related to plastic surgery.
The Bergamo course is considered to be the most advanced course in the world that concerns itself with newest nose operation techniques.
On May 24th-26th, 2013, in Salò at Lake Garda, the 8th International Plastic Aesthetic Surgery Course was organised ‘Update in Aesthetic Surgery of the Face’.
At the end of November this year in Milan held a one-day course on surgery of the nose.
