Education
Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, achieved the title of MD in the year 1997. In the year 2005, he completed his specialisation studies in neurosurgery, concluded with the passed state examination. In the year 2005, he defended his thesis at the PMU and achieved the title of PhD.
His work in spine surgery began in the year 1998 at the Clinical Ward for Neutraumatology of the 1. Independent Public Clinical Hospital of Szczecin under guidance of prof. Jan Ślósarek. Afterwards he worked at the Neurosurgery Clinic of the Pomeranian Medical University at the 1. Independent Public Clinical Hospital in Szczecin headed by prof. Ireneusz Krojder, where he is employed until now; his primary field of activity are operations in terms of spine surgery.
He completed the following training and professional courses, e. g.:
– 4th European Neurosurgeon Training Course (EANS),,
– Apprenticeship at the Neuro&Spine Trauma Centre in Miami, United States, under prof. Bulloc,,
– International training in the treatment of spinal disc herniation in the lumbar and cervical sections of the spine at facilities in the UK and Germany,
– International training in the transcutaneous discectomy of the lumbar and neck section of the spine in Paris,
– International training in advanced spine surgery techniques in St. Louis, Memphis, San Diego, Boston, United States.

Clinic has won the rankings twice and became the best plastic surgery clinic in Poland. During the 29 years of existence of the clinic, over 25,000 operations were carried out.
At the request of the Association of Assistance to Disabled Children and Youth in Road Accidents “Heart”, voivode Marcin Zydorowicz and vice-voivodship Ryszard Mićko presented awards to distinguished activists of the organization.
